A team from Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church came and visited us for a day. They had the opportunity to serve in the two group homes with Hope for Home, haul paver blocks, organize and clean some of our after-school program materials and equipment. In the afternoon we had 42 kids (a combination of our after-school program and another after-school program in the area) come out for an afternoon of games and fun!
Our awesome group of volunteers!
Some other pics from the after-school program: New games, learning English vocab and drawing pictures, popping balloons as an English game, more acting out Bible stories, and team photos! We took a two week break as we adjusted to adding a baby to our family, but Monday we will start back up again!
And now for the baby pics :)
Cousins nine days apart: Benjamin David on the left and Samuel on the right.
Prayer topics:
- Continued adjustment to adding another member to our family
- Continued healing for Shauna from the C-section
- Prayer for good balance of time with family and ministry
- Good health for Sammy
- A great time with Andi's parents as they visit in a couple of weeks
- For interns, volunteers, and more staff - as we look to the future and expanding PTR Guatemala
- Still in need of more partners supporting us financially - as we share the love of Jesus and build relationships with the kids and families in our community.
Side note/praise: Notice we added three videos to this post - normally this would have meant going to a place with better/unlimited internet and waiting 15 minutes for each video to upload. However, as of this past Saturday we (after 7 months) now have unlimited internet and it took less than 10 seconds to upload each video! We are so thankful. Now if anyone wants to video call or send photos or videos feel free!
Side note number 2: We have a new order of shirts sizes S-2XL. There are some here in Guatemala and some in Dillsburg, PA. Let us know if you are interested in purchasing any. The profit we make on the shirts go back into expenses for the after-school program and other events. The color options are in the photo below.
We are so blessed by our son, Samuel, whose name means, 'God has heard.'
So thankful and honored to be serving our amazing God here in Guatemala.
Thank you for your continued support.
Andi, Krishauna, and Samuel Brubaker
